When to Use Bulk Upload
Use Bulk Upload when you need to generate images for multiple products at once instead of uploading them individually.
Common use cases:
- Creating imagery for large product catalogs (10–500+ SKUs)
- Generating consistent studio or lifestyle images across a collection
- Launching new product drops or seasonal updates
- Scaling image production without manual uploads
Before You Start
- Product image URLs must be publicly accessible (e.g., hosted on your site or CDN)
- Your CSV must match the provided template format
- Start with a small test (5–10 rows) before uploading large files
Step 1: Download the CSV Template
- Go to Create New
- Click Bulk Upload
- Select Download CSV Template
This template defines how each product will be generated.
Step 2: Fill Out the CSV
Each row in the CSV represents one product you want to generate images for.
Required fields:
- Product Name
- Product Image URL (must be publicly accessible)
Optional fields:
- Inspiration Image
- Dimensions (height, width, depth in inches)
- Prompt
- Number of images
- Aspect ratio
- Request type (e.g., Studio or Lifestyle)
💡 Tip: Customize settings per row to control how each product is generated, including output type, image count, and styling.
Step 3: Upload the CSV
- Save your file as a CSV
- Click Upload CSV
- Select your file
- Name your upload
- Click Submit
Step 4: How Bulk Upload Processing Works
After submission:
- A task is created for each row in your CSV
- Each product appears as its own card
- Images begin generating automatically
Each row becomes an independent product, so you can:
- Edit images
- Regenerate variations
- Manage outputs individually
Processing speed
Bulk uploads are processed in batches:
- ~30 products every ~5 minutes
- ~300 products in ~30 minutes
- ~600 products per hour
Large uploads will populate progressively as batches complete.
Step 5: Track Progress
You can monitor progress from the bulk upload card:
- New product cards appear as they are processed
- Images populate as they finish generating
Step 6: Work With Generated Images
Bulk-generated images behave like standard ALL3D images.
You can:
- Edit
- Regenerate
- Compare
- Collaborate
- Download or upscale
Step 7: Filter by Bulk Upload
To view all images from a specific upload:
- Go to Gallery
- Use the Bulk Request filter
This allows you to:
- View all outputs from a specific upload
- Review large jobs efficiently
- Avoid sorting through unrelated images
Studio vs Lifestyle Outputs
You can control output type in the CSV:
- Studio mode → clean, plain backgrounds
- Lifestyle mode → fully designed environments
Tips
- Use high-quality product images for best results
- Ensure image URLs are valid and publicly accessible
- Use inspiration images to guide lighting and composition
- Test with a small upload before scaling
Troubleshooting
Images are not generating
- Confirm product image URLs are publicly accessible
- Check that your CSV matches the template format
Outputs don’t look as expected
- Review prompt and inspiration inputs
- Confirm request type (Studio vs Lifestyle)
Missing products after upload
- Verify all rows were included in the CSV
- Re-upload if necessary
Summary
Bulk Upload allows you to bring large product catalogs into ALL3D quickly and generate imagery at scale.
Instead of uploading products one at a time, you can:
- Define your inputs in a CSV
- Generate images in parallel
- Manage each product individually once created
