“We’ve gone from dragging huge cabinets out of storage to generating images of full product lines in a few clicks with ALL3D. That’s a huge transformation.” Christina Garabito, UX Specialist
Lyon ditched traditional photo shoots and adopted ALL3D to streamline content creation, boost quality, and prepare for the future of e-commerce.

Founded in 1901, Lyon has been shipping steel cabinets since before Ford sold its first Model T. That kind of staying power comes from spotting a shift early and leaning in, whether it’s swapping drafting tables for CAD or lately trading photo shoots for 3D renders. In 2018 the company started investing more into its online presence. Since then, demand for better product imagery has only grown from end users as well as distributors displaying Lyon’s products on their own websites. The company’s old process for creating product imagery wasn’t scalable and they had to figure out a new strategy for the increasing demand.
That’s when ALL3D stepped in.
With ALL3D the two-person marketing team no longer had to wait for new physical products to be built or manage costly and lengthy photo shoots. Now Lyon could speed up content creation and give time back to the team to work on other important projects. Before they had to maneuver products weighing up to 500 pounds and be 12-feet tall from a warehouse packed with hundreds of cabinet models, stage them, light them, photograph them, and then Photoshop in variations of cabinets the company had yet to build. And now with ALL3D: need a cabinet with five drawers instead of three? Done. Different spacing? Easy.
Image quality was another major leap forward. With traditional photography, capturing large metal cabinets often meant dealing with uneven lighting, grainy zooms, and inconsistent setups.
“Nine times out of ten, the photos would come out a little fuzzy or the lighting would shift depending on where we shot it. With ALL3D, everything looks crisp, no matter the angle or scale.”
The result isn’t just more efficient, it’s better looking, too. Christina pointed out how even the fine lines on cabinet handles show up clearly, and how the renders maintain a clean, consistent look across the entire catalog, something that was hard to achieve with physical staging and lighting changes.
Consistency across images with ALL3D makes it easier to organize and present products online. With Lyon’s products aligned and uniform, customers quickly see the benefits and differences between similar SKUs making product comparisons and selections user-friendly.

“Bulk uploading was a game changer. I’m juggling website updates, catalogs, account work, you name it. With the ALL3D bulk upload system, I can quickly get details for entire product lines into the system and focus my time on other key projects.”
Lyon are planning ahead for the future. As part of a larger digital transformation the company is exploring interactive configurators and the real-time customization tools powered by ALL3D. Their internal quoting system already allows customers to configure products behind the scenes, and the future goal is to provide real-time visual feedback to increase customer engagement.
ALL3D helps companies like Lyon quickly generate high-quality images while saving them time and money. Whether you’re looking to replace traditional photography, build scalable product visuals for eCommerce, or prepare for future-facing tools like AR and configurators, ALL3D is your partner of choice.
